Passed away 26 March 2023 - age 26
It is with great sadness that we, the family wish to inform you of the death of Mr. Lucien Shawn Roy, of Gagetown, NB, which occurred at the Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, on Sunday March 26, 2023, at the 26 years old.
Born in Caraquet, he was the adopted son of Arthur Roy and Denise (Guignard) Roy of Ste. Anne, Co. Gloucester.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brothers and sisters: Karl Alex of Bathurst, Alain, Joey (Maryse and their daughter Elena), Luc, Karine (Patrick), all of Tracadie, Patrick Jr. (Colinda) of Neguac, Keven and Christina of Edmundston, NB He also leaves many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and Patrick and Clarisse Roy of Notre-Dame-des-Érables.
Lucien was an active member of the Canadian Armed Forces, 4th regiment as a sailor first class and cook at the military base in Gagetown.
He now rests with his brother André.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral will take place on Thursday March 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, St. Andrew Street in Bathurst.
