Passed away 14 March, 2022 - age 51
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Tammy Lee Baschuk, Sergeant (Ret'd), on March 14, 2022. She leaves behind her best friend, husband, soul mate, Michael Hulbert; and his three children, sons; Alexander of Edmonton, AB and Cordell of Castlegar, BC, and daughter; Madalyn of Grand Forks, BC, and beloved dog Ice.
Tammy is also survived by her parents Tony and Joanne Baschuk of Saskatoon, SK, Sister: Rhonda Kirkness and her two children, son; Brennan and daughter; Meagan, of Saskatoon, Brother: Richard (Marletta) of Grande Prairie, AB, Sister: Colleen (David) Wilchuck and their three children Son; Garett, two daughters; Brielle and Brooke of Edmonton, AB, Brother; Jason (Twyla) and their four children, daughters; Kyla and Daytona, sons; Sterling and Koby of Saskatoon, Sister; Tanya (Graham) Thibault and their two children, son; Alex and daughter; Emma. And also Sister-in-law; Teresa Grimaldi and her daughter Ashley of Grande Prairie, AB, Sister-in-law; Lesley (Richard) Canton and their two sons; Derek and Devan Drewniak of Abbottsford, BC. Tammy had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Tammy joined the Canadian Armed Forces on June 1, 1989. After basic and trades training her service saw her being posted to CFB Cold Lake, AB, and then off to the first Gulf War and then into the Reserve Forces in Red Deer, AB, then to CFB Wainwright, AB, back in the Regular Forces, where she met her husband Michael on September 1, 2002. Tammy and Michael dated each other for 4 years and married on December 22, 2006. Tammy retired from the Military on April 23, 2014, after proudly serving her Country for 25 years.
