Passed away at the Montfort Hospital on June 27, 2014 at the age of 76. Son of the late George Earl and the late Margaret Agnes nee West. Beloved spouse of Marcelle Grenier nee Lalonde. Loving brother of Ernie (Diane), Arnie (Ferne), Marilyn (Late John), Wayne (Elaine) and Lyle (Joyce). He will be also missed by his sister-in-laws and brother in law: Jean (Abbie), Barbara (Dewart Hennig), and June (John Carr ), Mitch Smith (late Marg), as well by the Grenier and Lalonde Families and by many nieces, nephews and friends, also at the cottage. Predeceased by his first wife Mary Ellen and his brothers James and Abbie. Ed had a life long of Curling and shared great moments with friends. Special thanks to the staff of the 6th floor at the Montfort Hospital for their excellent care and also to Mario Grenier, Jean-Guy and Ginette Barbe for their patience and great support. Family and friends are invited to Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremations Services, 280 Beechwood Ave. (east of Vanier Parkway), on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Sacred Space at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in the National Military Cemetery of Beechwood Cemetery.For those who wish, in memory of Edward's, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
