MURPHY, Keith Thomas Major, CD (retired) RCASC Veteran World War II CDN Merchant Navy Transport Canada (Ottawa) Peacefully with his family by his side, Monday September 15, 2008 at the age of 81. Survived by his wife and best friend Rosemary (Boyazis) Murphy and 2 sons Lawrence and Kevin, brother-in-law Tony Boyazis, nephews Jonathan and Graeme Boyazis. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phil Murphy, predeceased by brother Eric P. Murphy. Peacekeeping tours in the Belgium Congo and Egypt. Military postings in Borden, Soest Germany, Kingston and Winnipeg. OIC Wallace House Armories, member Royal Canadian Legion # 351 Montgomery branch and Whiskey Creek Golf Club, Fort Myers, Fl. Thanks for the great care by Dr. L. Cross, Dr. L. Lacroix, Dr. C. Ruddy, Dr. L. Duchesne, and the staff at the Heart Institute, OCH Medical Daycare Unit and ICU on D2. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street Tuesday September 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Institute or the Civic Hospital.
