Beloved husband of Bonnie of Kingston. Loving father of Golden - Sandra of Fort Providence of N.W.T. - daughter Renada - loving partner T.J Maracle of Trenton. Loving Papa to grandchildren Jeremy, Craig, Bella, and son-in-law Michael Carroll of Ottawa. A caring uncle to many nieces and nephews, co-workers and friends that felt like family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Joyce of Belleville. His brother Norman Junior of Belleville. His sisters Mary Hamilton of Belleville, Cathy Pigden of Picton. Surviving siblings Linda - Don Fleming of Corbyville, Johnny - Edna Pigden of Trenton, Alec - Laura Pigden of Trenton, Allan - Theresa Pigden of Sterling, Bobby of Red Deer, Gary - Mary Jane Blair of Ottawa. His aunt Bev, and Uncle Jerry of Belleville.
Born in England and raised in Belleville - His wife Bonnie married 56 years (Nee Hatt formerly of Milton Nova Scotia) - Roy was military - both of Roy's parents served in the second world war - He served the majority of his life working for the forces - and continued in his trade of cooking to serve full time / part time with the federal government on Trenton Air Base. Loved his work, the military, and being a team player - If he could help - he was there - sometimes generous to a fault. He loved life, family, his career, and lots of years making many memories with the grandchildren. He was also spiritually based and tried to help whenever he could. He loved to make fishing memories with family, friends, grandkids, and being in nature. His presence will sadly be missed. A celebration of life will be held in late spring of 2022 in Trenton.
