Passed away 5 April 2015 - age 80
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peter Kenneth Muise announces his peaceful passing at his family residence in South Branch at the age of 80 years. Born in South Branch, Peter was the son of the late Denis and Beatrice Muise. He was also predeceased by his children; Barbara Ann, Randall, Theodore, mother and father in law Sheila and Winslow Barkhouse, sister Ella (McNeil) Charles, brothers; Jerome Muise, James Muise, Wayne Muise, sister in law Rita Muise and an extended circle of brothers and sisters in law.
He leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories his loving and devoted wife Lillian of 60 years. Proud father of Richard Muise Halifax NS, Ronald (Brenda) Muise, Bonnie Muise (Denis St-Pierre) all of South Branch, Corey Muise (Natasha McIsaac) St. Andrew's, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Daughter in law Sheila Gale, sisters in law; Betty Muise, Doreen Muise, Teri Luedee. Brothers and sisters; Eric (Ida) Muise, Norman (Zita) Muise, Edward (Pam) Muise, Marcel (Julianne) Muise, David (Debbie) Muise, Junior Muise, Wade (Linda) Muise, Particia (Marshall) Devoe, Margaret Rose (Joe McEvoy), Augusta (Richard) Aucoin, Marion Spence. Brother and Sisters in law; Cyril (Gladys) Barkhouse, Wilson (Maryanne) Barkhouse, David (Muriel) Barkhouse, Tex (Judy) Barkhouse, Phillip (Twyla) Barkhouse, Laurie (Heather) Barkhouse, Dale (Wayne) Higgins, Darlene (John) Fenton and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends.
In Keeping with Peter's wishes cremation has taken place. The funeral mass will take place on Friday April 10, 11 AM at St. Sylvester's Roman Catholic Church in South Branch officiated by father Lee Lainey, interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Peter can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
