Passed away 15 October 2015 - age 66
from Michael's wife, Gail:
It is with great sadness that my husband PO1 Michael Crumley passed away on 15 October 2016 after a courageous battle of lung complications from pneumonia. Michael spent 26 years in the Navy as a Cook 861, serving on west coast ships HMCS Qu'Apelle and HMCS McKenzie to name a few. He spent 4 years with 3 Mech in Lahr Germany in the 70's cooking for the Army Navy style. He also spent two years at CFSAL Borden training Cooks. Michael always loved his job, he especially loved to teach others how to cook at sea or on shore. During the last few years he especially enjoyed teaching his 3 Granddaughters how to cook. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
