Passed away 16 December 2009 - age 54
On December 16th, 2009 MCpl Ian Bodden passed away gently at the Grey Nun’s Hospital in Edmonton following a short and courageous fight with cancer.
A Funeral Service for family and friends will be held at Mount Paul United Church in Kamloops, B.C. on March 27th.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be given to the Cross Cancer Clinic in Edmonton or the Military Families Fund.
Ian is survived by his father, Hally Bodden of Kamloops; brother Michael and sister-in-law Shirley of Williams Lake, B.C.; brother Sandy of Kamloops; and brother Ken and sister-in-law Brenda of Edmonton. As well he is survived by his nephew Ralph Bodden of Prince George, B.C.; nephew Sam Bodden of Calgary and niece Kate Bodden of Edmonton.
Ian will be sorely missed and deeply remembered by his family, friends and the entire Cook Trade.
The family chose both of these selections as a further Tribute to the Legacy of Love
