WILLIAMSON, George Ross - December 10, 1948 - April 8, 2009
George passed away at GR Baker Hospital in Quesnel after a courageous battle with cancer. His children (with wife Stacey), Chris and Shannon were at his side, as well as his brother, Roger and sister's in law Lois and Liz and niece Stacey.
George was born December 10, 1948 in Books, Alberta; the second child to Hazel and Earl. He had three brothers; Rodney (Liz), Roger (Lois) and Clark (Doris).
George had seven grandchildren whom he loved dearly; Kelsey, Megan, Zachary, Riley, Nicholas, Kayla and Logan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
George had a long career in the Canadian Military in Logistics and brought that expertise to various post-retirement volunteer positions in the community. He was past president of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #94, as well as an active member of the Quesnel Pipes and Drums.
George's quick sense of humour and inviting nature always ensured a good time was had by all.
