Maltais, Daniel - 39, Head of Chezzetcook. He succumbed to his injuries following a motorcycle accident on Tuesday July 23, 2013. Born in Alma Quebec; son of Liguori Maltais and Maryse Larouche. Along with his parents Daniel is survived by his loving wife Marie-Josée; son Guillaume and sister Stephanie. He was predeceased by his younger brother Guillaume. Daniel, a polished submariner, retired from the Royal Canadian Navy after 22 years of loyal service. He will be greatly missed by us all and his spirit will remain in our hearts forever. He was Larger than life and everywhere he went, Daniel’s magnetism drew people in and left a lifelong impression. Daniel definitely lived for two; he was driven and got things done. There was nothing big or bad enough that he could not conquer. Dan’s ultimate lifelong passion was motorcycling; Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street Dartmouth.
