Passed away 22 October 2016 - age 76
It is with great sadness that the family of the late CLAUDE J. HODGE of Lord’s Cove announces his passing at The Health Science Centre in St. John’s on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at the age of 76. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Margaret Hodge of 51 years; sisters, Catherine Brewer of St. Lawrence, Jessie (Edgar) Hillier of Brooks, AB, Emily (Bill) Haley of Ontario, Esther Harnett of Ontario, Mag (Carlo) Slaney of Marystown, and Lucy (Hughie) Hodge of Carbonear; brother, Francis (Sherry) Hodge of Ontario; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Leonard & Lillian Hodge; and brothers George & Leonard Hodge.
The Hodge Family will be accepting visitors at St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church in Lord’s Cove on Monday, October 24th beginning at 11:00 a.m.; and Tuesday, October 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church in Lord’s Cove on Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lord’s Cove.
In Claude’s memory donations may be made to The Hodge Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
