Crowley, Joseph Charles
The death of Joseph C. Crowley of Lincoln, NB occurred at his home on Friday, February 23rd, 2007, his birthday, after a two year fight with bone cancer. Joseph was born in Saint John, NB in 1942. He was the first child of Charles and Josephine Crowley. Joseph was most proud of his family and his 29 years of service to the Canadian Armed Forces. In his final years he came to love the game of golf and was an active member of the Gagetown Golf and Curling Club. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; daughters, Kimberly (Winston) and Tina (Alan); son, Joe (Rose); mother, Josephine; brothers, Mike, Ian, Paul and Stewart; granddaughters, Jennifer and Rose; grandsons, Roland (Tracy), Corey, Alan, Ryan and Adam as well as his great grandson, Roland III.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Saturday, February 24th and Sunday, February 25th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Monday, February 26th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Rev. Ken Weir officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
